Patio Door System
(Scroll Down to Explore)
The workhorse patio door.
Cortizo Cor 4700 is the mid‑range patio door for projects where budget matters as much as performance. It offers genuinely generous panel sizes (up to 3m tall, 2.5m wide), a slim 50mm interlock, and the choice between inline and lift‑and‑slide operation — the latter being worth the upgrade for anything over 200kg.
It is the door we recommend when you want the look and performance of Cortizo’s premium systems at a price that makes sense for a standard rear extension. Most of our residential projects in Wembley, Harrow, and North London specify this as standard.
Lift. Slide. Effortless.
On a standard inline sliding door, the weight of the glass rests on the rollers the whole time — so anything above 200kg becomes physically hard to move. The lift‑and‑slide variant uses a geared handle that raises the panel a few millimetres off the track when you open it, and lowers it back into a compression seal when you close.
The benefit: a 300kg panel glides effortlessly with one finger. The compression seal also makes the door measurably warmer and quieter when closed. Strongly recommended for any door over 2.5m tall.
