Smart Systems Aluspace is the UK’s definitive steel‑replacement window. It replicates the narrow sightlines, square edges, and stepped profile of a traditional Crittall steel window — without the condensation, rust, cold bridging, or 100‑year‑old draughts.
The result is a window that looks indistinguishable from steel on the outside, but performs like a modern thermally broken aluminium system. Warm to the touch. Draught‑free. Fully weathertight. Finished in the same mill‑grade matt black powder coat that steel windows were originally painted with.

Steel‑look windows are the defining detail of converted warehouses, loft apartments, and modern industrial‑style extensions. The narrow glazing bars divide the glass into small panes, creating a geometric pattern that reads as both traditional and contemporary.
Available with vertical or cross‑pattern mullions in any configuration — from single square lights to full floor‑to‑ceiling industrial screens. Matching steel‑look doors, bifolds, and internal partitions available to complete the scheme.

Smart Systems Aluspace thermally broken aluminium profile, engineered to replicate the sightlines of Crittall‑style steel windows. 47mm frame depth with 59mm typical sightlines. Polyamide thermal break. Compatible with 24, 28, 32 or 36mm double or triple glazed sealed units. Internally beaded for security. Class 4 air permeability, Class 5A–7A watertightness, AE2400 wind resistance. PAS 24: 2016 tested on casement and fixed lights. Marine‑quality polyester powder‑coat finish in single or dual colour. Weather tested to BS 6375 Part 1.
Casement, fixed light, side‑hung, top‑hung, and full Georgian‑bar configurations. Available with vertical, horizontal, or cross‑pattern mullions. Matching Aluspace doors (single and double), bifolds, and internal partition systems can be specified alongside the windows for a fully coordinated scheme.
Colour Options
Available in Black, Anthracite Grey, and White as standard.
