Schüco. The German standard.
Schüco AWS 70.HI is the reference‑class window of German‑engineered glazing. High‑rise residential in Frankfurt, Passivhaus new builds in Vienna, embassy buildings across Europe — this is the specification. We fit it wherever a project demands absolute best‑in‑class thermal, acoustic, and security performance.
The “HI” stands for High Insulation: a 70mm thermally optimised profile delivering whole‑window U‑values as low as 0.94 W/m²K with standard triple glazing, and lower still with the Passivhaus variant. Acoustic attenuation up to 46dB.
RC3 security. Standard.
Schüco has its own burglary resistance testing standard — RC3 is the level certified for ground‑floor windows in German commercial and high‑end residential. It requires the window to resist a sustained three‑minute attack with screwdrivers, crowbars, and wedges. Very few aluminium systems even offer it as an option; on AWS 70.HI it is standard.
Engineered, tested, and finished in Bielefeld, Germany. Every profile traceable by batch. Every component certified to DIN standards. This is the most rigorously specified window we fit.
