The Cor 70 Hidden Sash tilt‑and‑turn is the default high‑performance window across mainland Europe. The opening sash is completely concealed behind the outer frame, so closed windows appear as a continuous run of glass with no visible opening light — and yet the full sash rotates inward for cleaning, or tilts at the top for secure ventilation.
U‑value as low as 0.9 W/m²K with triple glazing. 45dB acoustic attenuation. Takes glass up to 44mm and sashes up to 130kg, meaning single panes of 1.3m × 1.8m are well within specification.
Hidden sash. Full opening.
On a conventional tilt‑turn, you can see the profile of the opening sash even when the window is shut — two interlocking aluminium frames sitting inside each other. The Hidden Sash variant drops the sash profile inside the outer frame entirely. Externally, it looks identical to a fixed light.
This lets you build elevations with “hidden openings” — a run of seven matching windows across a facade, where only three of them actually open, but you cannot tell which from outside. It is an architect’s trick and the reason this system is specified so often.

Concealed tilt‑and‑turn gearing with multi‑point locking. Profile wall thickness 1.9mm. Compatible with glazing 26–40mm. Maximum sash weight 160kg. Certified to C5 wind resistance, E1800 water tightness, Class 4 air permeability. Acoustic attenuation Rw up to 46dB.
Standard tilt‑and‑turn, turn‑only, or tilt‑only. Lockable and child‑restrictor handle options. Fire escape (egress) version available. Maximum sash size 1300 × 2400mm (HD casement up to 1200 × 3500mm). Can be supplied as single vents, side‑by‑side pairs, or coupled with fixed lights and other Cor 70 system openings within a single structural frame.
