Richmond lists it as St. Margarets no. 19 on its conservation area statements page, as "St Margarets Estate" on the Article 4 register, and as "St Margaret's Estate No. 19" on the appraisal PDF. All three refer to the same designation. Crown Road, St Margaret's no. 49 is a separate one.
Is Rosslyn Park a conservation area?
No. There is no Richmond conservation area of that name. The designations covering TW1 St Margarets are St. Margarets no. 19, Crown Road no. 49 and Amyand Park Road no. 48, with Cambridge Park no. 21 and Richmond Road no. 66 covering East Twickenham.
Netherton Road is described as unaltered. Does that raise the bar?
It does in practice. Where an appraisal singles out a street as unaltered, the council has effectively recorded the baseline it wants preserved, and a replacement that departs from it is harder to justify than the same window two streets away.
Can I fit double glazing into the original villa sashes?
